Dad got a new job. He's working for a company doing electrician's work again. They're not paying him nearly what he's worth, but unfortunately, they've been burned by way too many people in this town claiming to be journeymen. I'm sure that once they've seen what he can do, though, that they'll make it worth his while. Anyhow, today was his first day. Which means some little things will be changing.

Tomorrow will be the first time that we'll all three be working at the same time. Mercedes will be watching her brother by herself. It's not like it's the first time she's watched him, it's just that it's the first time it's been a necessity. We've discussed procedure, left numbers, and set rules. It's only for less than a couple of hours, but it's still a little nerve-wrecking. I think it's mostly an issue of me knowing that she can handle it, and with that, realizing how grown up she's becoming.

Anyway, I'm anxious for today to be over so I can see how tomorrow morning went.
