Well, my first day as an employed phlebotomist went well.

It started off with getting shots, a physical exam, and a blood draw. My arm still aches after 2 Advil, but not nearly as much. Then I went and became official, with my badge and passwords and official hospital pen.

Everyone gave me a very warm welcome, and I feel pretty fantastic about working there. I guess I just generally feel great! Plus, it looks like I'll have one nearly-full paycheck before we go to Hawaii, and I'll get a full one while we're there. I'm hoping to have direct deposit so we'll have access to the funds as soon as the check is cut.
